Scientists in Need of Technology

Help me give my students much needed technology to enhance their learning in the science classroom. We use these Chromebooks for Google classroom as well as Google slides presentations and virtual notebooks.

My Students

My students are a conglomeration of three different elementary schools from different areas of the same town. They are coming together in a start-up junior high (new 2018). We are taking over the old high school. We don’t have much, but we have each other! Our school will have students from sixth to eighth grades. I love that these students don’t always know each other when they start school, but quickly come together as a family who learns and loves together!

My Project

My students are some of the most deserving people. We strive to enhance their science education, with the technology we are desiring. We use Chromebooks in a variety of ways, including Google Classroom, slides and researching scientific topics. We also use them for reviews and games. Our goal is to utilize technology as a learning tool. We are not a one-to-one campus and can not always get the technology when needed. With this DonorsChoose.org campaign, we will be one step closer to meeting our goal of 1-1 in the science classroom. Some people dream of meeting their favorite scientist, I'm lucky, I teach mine.
