Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have the privilege of facilitating the scientific learning of students from third to fifth grade. They are all eager learners who enjoy experimenting and challenging each others theories/ ideas. My students crave hands-on learning opportunities and truly enjoy science.
The requested resources will foster my students investigative learning, further sparking their curious minds and interests.
Please help me engage my science learners by DOING. For instance, the telescope will provide students with an opportunity build their understanding of astronomy and distant objects, while fossil replica sets will aid their thoughts of the past as archeologists. These resources will benefit all of my students engagement and learning.
