My Students

My students live in a low economic status area. Many of my students crave love and attention at school. My classroom offers them consistency, safety, love, and compassion. Many of the students in my classroom do not have access to basic learning materials at home.

Despite all of their hardships my students come to school every day ready to learn.

They love doing hands on activities at school. The students little faces light up when working on a problem and they finally understand the concept.

My Project

Students are always doing hands-on activities in my classroom. The magnet kits will be used for students during project based learning to explore and discover forces. The kits will allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show their work. In the past few years students have been frustrated because our current magnet kits purchased from our school have missing pieces and broken magnets.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

Students will be engaged with the materials and simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether their materials are going to work or not.
