Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We continue to build the skills of our students using the science and engineering practices. They are nurturing their problem - solving skills by asking questions, developing and using models, collecting and analyzing data, using computer and computational thinking, planning and conducting investigation and collaborating with their peers! It just gets exciting everyday!

When students are trying to understand a concept, they have to make models of the phenomenon and we would like to give them options how to make their models such us using the 3D printers.

Students use their models in order to explain the phenomenon. It helps them understand the scientific ideas behind it. It also gives the students the opportunity to showcase their work to others which helps boost their confidence. We would like to nurture confident and curious young adults who are ready to tackle real-world problems.
