Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school is a new Agriculture Science School with students from kindergarten to eighth grade. Students get hands on learning in our school barn and a chance to put their math skills to use in a real world context. Last year was our first year with 7th grade and this year we added 8th grade. I am so excited to be teaching 7th and 8th grade math content! We currently do not have any scientific calculators to do our work! Students will need a solid foundation using these tools going into high school and I want to make sure they are prepared!
