This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We will be using these magazines weekly to supplement our science curriculum. We will read a new topic each week and learn how science is changing and developing right before our eyes. These magazines cover great topics like the Covid 19 virus and how the vaccines are being tested and developed and how children their age are playing a part in developing new ways of doing things.
These magazines shows the students how people their age can make a difference in Science and STEM!
They read about students that do things different and test different things in Science that they may not be able to ever see for themselves.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
