This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My second graders are awesome and they have been eager and excited to learn about Science especially when I show videos relevant to our lesson or topic. In connection, the iPad is ideal for teaching Science topics because it supports the whole learning journey from collaboration, brainstorming, and using design skills to sketch ideas. iPad can also transform into almost any tool students need like a telescope, a graphing calculator, a camera, a sketch pad, and a book.

The breadth of available resources especially videos and interactive games, make it fun and valuable for supporting Science teaching and learning.
