Help me give my students the owl pellets to dissect and the tweezers and gloves needed for this hands on exploration of food chains!

My Students

My students are special! They are from a rural area. Many are from low socioeconomic homes and do not have opportunities to travel and experience the world.

My students' enthusiasm motivates me to bring the world into our classroom through literature, technology, and other hands-on activities.

Our school has a library and some technology available, but I would like to have these resources more readily available so we have them at our fingertips. I'm especially excited about the prospect of having more technology in our classroom.

My Project

This project will be used for hands-on exploration of food chains with my amazing 2nd grader scientists. This project will give my students owl pellets for dissecting as well as the gloves and tweezers needed when doing this science experiment.

There is no better way to learn science than by "digging in" with your hands!

Your donation will help my students literally dig into science as they learn about food chains and how they work! We will also learn about carnivores and herbivores. Activities like dissecting owl pellets get my students excited about coming to school, learning, and exploring our world!
