This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom, we have a STEM challenge every Wednesday morning where each table gets out a STEM tool bin and a challenge card! The task is to be creative with the tools they have in order to build what is on their challenge card (such as building a castle out of clothespins and popsicle sticks)!

Our students ABSOLUTELY LOVE STEM and want MORE!

With these rescources I can create a STEM center to incorporate into our daily routine and not just once a week! The storage cabinet will give us space to put the resources in a safe place that won't distract us! We can use the white board paddles to ask and answer questions about our STEM designs and while we have some cool STEM tools already-the creative straws, wooden geometric blocks and building bricks will help students creatively think to infinity and beyond! The possibilities to create are endless! Help us get our brains thinking outside of the box and build our creative stamina!
