My students need hands on learning activities. The coding caterpillar, pretend play sets, and water writing mat will allow my students to be creative and learn skills that will help them become successful adults.
My amazing and talented Prekindergarten kids have already experienced a vast majority of life obstacles before stepping into my classroom. The majority of my students come from low-income homes. Some of them don't even have a place to call home. Despite the hardships these 3 and 4 year old students deal with on a daily basis they always walk into the classroom with smiles on their faces and eager to learn.
My students truly deserve the world.

My Project
Prekindergarten is all about shaping young minds. We are seeing children spending more time on devices and less time using their imagination. My students need activities that will prepare them for their future. Social skills, problem solving, and creativity play a huge part in molding the minds of young children.
My students are next generation's workforce.
They are the leaders of tomorrow. STEM activities allow students to use their natural inclination to explore, create, and ask questions. The building materials, coding caterpillar, and pretend play sets I am asking for will allow my students to think,create, problem solve, and work together. My students love pretend play. Pretending to be a doctor or working at an ice cream shop will allow students to think about their future and gain social skills. The water doodle and tree rings will allow students to use their imagination and get creative. With these materials students will be having so much fun they wont even realize they're learning.
