Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is for materials to help us finish the year strong.

In my class, we do so many wonderful STEM/STEAM/SEL/SCIENCE-based enrichment activities that, to finish the year strong, we need to replenish some of those items.

There are resin materials, tie-dye materials, DIY slime materials, DIY playdough materials, items to help us make GENKI BALLS, and items to help us become more sustainable. The r in projects is very science-oriented - mixing and experimenting with what works; the slime/playdough materials are not only science with the DIY but SEL and a ton of fun. The G KI BALL materials are very much geared toward climate and the environment because they are being created by students to be thrown in a local pond to clean out the pond and hopefully help the local environment. The b ls and other plasticware are used so we can reduce, reuse, and recycle. It will help us save money and the environment.
