Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Even though most of my students are not able to read due to their delayed speech and reading skills it is still incredibly important they are surrounded by books. So many students are connected to technology, however my students need to have books in their hands and need to hear and look at the pages in a book. So why not incorporate some fun science picture books that will keep them engaged and learning away from technology.

My main goal for this project is to blend science and literature.

It's so important that students have hands on opportunities in science but also have the pictures and literature to accompany these new scientific topics that they are exploring.
