My Students

Whiteboard boredom is a serious disease and can infect young science minds in matter of weeks. Help me protect my young scientists from this dangerous disease.

My students come from diverse backgrounds and that diversity is reflected in my students interests and learning styles.

My fifth grade students are always excited to learn science and it is my job as their teacher to keep that excitement going throughout the school year. They love demonstrating their knowledge of science in different ways and building their minds to become the next generation of super scientists!

My Project

The Science Starters resources and Science Quiz Show CD ROM will be great tools to engage my students and activate their science brains. These tools will help reach my diverse science learners and allow them to get away from using the usual whiteboard and dry erase markers. As a fifth grade teacher I am responsible for motivating and cultivating 120 students who will be the next generation of great scientists. It would be great to know that you had a hand in helping to build the minds of these great thinkers. The combination of the the Science Starters resources and Science Quiz Show CD ROM will engage my students who are always so eager to demonstrate their knowledge and prove that they really are SUPER SCIENTISTS!!

This project is so important for me and my students because it will challenge them while being entertained which is key when you have a diverse group of students.
