Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello! My students are bright, kind, generous students who come from low-income, immigrant families of color. They come to me from their jobs they worked all night, from their families where they take care of all their younger siblings, from their home to the safety and security of my classroom.

They are often hungry for both literal food and for knowledge - supplies on this list will help me to fuel all of their hunger, both literally and figuratively.

It has been shown time and time again that students who can be hands on with Science material and make it their own - will retain and understand it at a deeper level. Again, the materials on this list will help us to achieve that for these hardworking and dedicated human beings.
