My students need needs the Electricity Activity Lab kit, Magnet Activity lab box and various books that are related to science topics taught in fourth grade.

My Students

This year has been such a successful year in fourth grade! We are focusing on science and social studies through our informational reading skills. We spend time in the classroom as well as our STEM Lab. Our school is a thriving Title I elementary school in Western North Carolina.

We will be actively engaging with Science and Social Studies so that we are strengthening our thinking skills while integrating reading and writing.

My fourth graders are eager learners who will begin to sharpen their problem solving skills through hands on learning.

My Project

Fourth graders are natural learners of science! Science is an important subject in fourth grade! We start to explore the various aspects of how science affects us and our lives. Not only do fourth graders start to explore the many aspects of fourth grade science but they also use the science content to strengthen their informational reading skills. Fourth graders love to read about current topics in science. They need books that will not only support what they are learning but they also need to be able to start learning research skills to help build their thinking skills.

This project will do all that and more!!

The informational reading books will help support the science content that is taught in the classroom. The science kits will support hands on learning as well in science. You never know when a student will read about new topics in science that might spark the next big discovery in science!
