My Project
I currently teach 6th grade science at our school. Our school is located in a very small community where many of our students are from lower economic families. I love seeing them light up when they learn about all the amazing science phenomenon's presented to them. Since our curriculum is computer based, I would love to supply my students with actual "hands on" dictionaries in order to discover a variety of science vocabulary, which I feel is important to understand what we are learning about. My students are all fascinated by the Newton's Cradle and I would love to have several for the students to be able to experiment with a physical apparatus instead of just watching me demonstrate.
