My Students

We love science but our school is so small (300 students) that we don't have the funds to buy science hands-on activities. Please help our students learn to love science by exploring fossils through hands-on activities.

We are a small school but our student population is eclectic.

Our students come from different countries all over the world. Our school is located inside a museum in Miami, Florida and it attracts students who love science. Our students are creative and love to participate in experiments and projects. They love hands-on activities and thrive on building, creating and exploring. Please help us continue to love science!

My Project

We are learning about science tools and the scientific method through the study of fossils. Students will be able to use science tools such as magnifying glasses, microscopes, spring scales and rulers. Our students will each choose a dinosaur and create fact sheets using the science books donated. They will include reading and language arts by comparing and contrasting different fossils. They will incorporate math by creating a bar graph comparing the dates of different fossils. Science will come alive with the help of these hands-on activities.

We need to make science and math more interesting for our students so that we can compete with other countries around the world.

Hands-on materials make science fun and engaging. The materials for this project will help get students engaged in learning about science. They will be motivated to use science tools and to perform experiments. Please help foster the love of science by making science fun and interesting. Help us get our hands-on supplies. Thank You!
