Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects, challenges, and experiments that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions!
My students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with a majority of the students receiving free lunch.
My school is an ethnically diverse school in the Bronx. Students come from many ethnic backgrounds including English, Spanish, African, Arabic, Asian, and Indian backgrounds.
As diverse as my students are economically and culturally, they are diverse in their academics as well. My students persevere through any challenges that arise! They are truly an inspiration to me!
My Project
This rolling cart WILL make a difference in my students' learning by keeping ALL our science materials organized and easily accessible when I come into their classroom. This cart will allow me to bring lab materials, art supplies, charts displaying our science concepts and vocabulary to my students.
With a portable easel and storage cart, I can create "Science On The Go" for my students.
It would make it easier for my students to access materials and ease any anxiety they have if they do not have what they need. They could just stop by the cart and pick it up!
Having this easel/storage cart is what they need in order to be successful little scientists!
