My Project

Our high school student's are resilient. Many of them enroll in our school as a 3rd chance to be academically successful. While showing their resilience, they are often in survival mode and not thinking about self care.

This project focuses on supporting their emotional well being by using the printer to create calming visualizations, the water garden to promote soothing sounds and using the bean bag chair as a comfortable sitting area during therapy.

Science has informed us that when we prioritize self care, we reduce stress, regulate our emotions better, avoid burnout and ultimately create balance in our life.
