Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These resources will play a crucial role in expanding their academic vocabulary and improving their reading comprehension skills. By engaging with nonfiction texts, my students will not only develop the ability to decode complex information but also deepen their understanding of key social studies and science topics. This exposure will empower them to critically analyze and synthesize information, skills that are essential for their academic growth.
My goal for this project is to create a rich learning environment where students can thrive as inquisitive learners.
By providing them with access to diverse nonfiction decodables, I aim to foster a curiosity about the world around them. Each text will serve as a stepping stone for improving literacy skills and gaining knowledge in important subjects.
What makes my students truly special is their willingness to explore new ideas and their unique perspectives on the world. They are eager to learn and often bring their own questions and interests into our discussions. Your generous contributions will help provide the resources they need to succeed, making a lasting impact on their educational journey.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to invest in my students' futures. Together, we can help them expand their knowledge and become confident, informed readers!
