My Project
Our school is researching the science of reading for our students. We are focusing on decodable books and passages to help students in the classroom.
The science of reading materials will improve my students reading strategies and skills.
I wish to use the science of reading teacher's reference book to review and update my knowledge on phonemic awareness and phonics. The science of reading decodable passages will be used to teach reading skills and strategies at the individual student's level. The decodable cards will be used to teach cvc words and blends within sentences.
