it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am trying to build a classroom library full of decodable books for my kindergarten students! Students can actually read the words themselves with decodable text/books even at the beginning of kindergarten. Students just need to know a handful of letter sounds (consonants) and a few vowels for a child to read simple CVC words.
All students need to have in place to be ready to hold a book, turn their own pages, and read the sounds in every word from the beginning to the end which these books do!
These sets of decodable readers will do just that to build confidence in each and every student. The books will be used for small groups, partner reading, or free choice from the classroom library.
