This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Kindergarten students have been hard at work learning to read. During their independent and small group time, they feel like they are playing games but are practicing their reading skills.
My students need more engaging activities to continue practicing their reading and writing skills.
Most of these activities I have purchased with my own money from Teachers Pay Teachers. I would like to be able to purchase more activities based on the Science of Reading and a gift card from TPT will help tremendously. Having these activities will give me more opportunities to focus on my teaching while they have great activities based on what I am teaching to practice with.
