This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our STEM lab needs foam footballs, running resistance parachutes, and target nets to create an engaging hands-on learning experience for my students. This project will allow them to explore the science behind football, including concepts of physics, force, motion, and teamwork.

My students are enthusiastic about sports, and incorporating football into our curriculum will make learning fun and relevant.

With the foam footballs, they can safely practice throwing and catching while understanding the principles of projectile motion. The running resistance parachutes will help them learn about acceleration and force as they train to improve their speed and agility. Lastly, the target nets will provide a fun way to practice accuracy and precision, reinforcing the importance of goal-setting and perseverance.
