Science Materials for Fostering an Engaging Learning Environment

Help me give my students materials to facilitate an engaging science learning environment this school year! The class set items will allow me to engage each student by giving students different ways to respond in class.

My Project

In the science classroom, materials are integral to student learning and success. Having items as part of a class set that can stay in the classroom ensures that students start labs, activities, and projects with the same materials. This allows students to focus on the important content that they need to show understanding of. This also takes pressure off of students taking away the need to check their lockers and backpacks for materials. Students can come to class knowing that they will have what they need to succeed.

Items like the easel paper, allow me to create visually interesting and engaging anchor charts to help students learn key concepts such as cell organelles or the water cycle.

These items will allow me to make learning science interesting for my 6th and 7th graders this school year and will help me keep my class engaging for students.
