This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What makes students special is they are tasked with solving the upcoming issues of our country and the current environmental issues for the future! The way COVID-19 has impacted learning in the last 18 months is that students have spent excessive time on social media and online gaming and not used their imagination nor have they in many instances used higher learning during this time frame.

These science magazines will allow my students to apply the science information included in the magazines to science topics I teach in class and obtain a higher level of science information therefore trying to reach a higher level of learning.

I feel additional, up to date science reading material is necessary for my students so they can obtain more real world science information.
