My Project
Aloha,
I always wanted to incorporate book reading into the class.
I think it is essential for students to see how science literature can be shared with the world through venues other than scientific journals. The books that I am requesting will help put the concepts they are learning into real-life contexts and global issues they will face soon.
We will use these books to read as a class to better understand how scientific data can be used to analyze situations and how it can guide humans to a better future. It will also give students the opportunity to practice science literacy and complex thinking as we discuss the topics in the book.
