Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious scientists, and I always want to give them more ways to expand their science knowledge.

This project will add to my current science classroom library which will help me provide lots of exciting materials for all of my diverse learners.

I have requested books that meet the various reading levels and science interests in my classroom. When students can engage with science topics that interest them and are accessible, they take steps towards becoming life-long, curious learners.

Additionally, my project includes basic classroom materials that I provide my students with every day. Because our students come from a high-poverty area, we aim to provide them with all the materials they need to succeed in school - that way, no one has to stress about buying school supplies instead of other vital items.
