My Students

This is amazing! These were the words a student announced last year when he created his first PowerPoint presentation and presented it in front of the class. Our school serves low-income students in grades K-12 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment. As a result, we are consistently one of the top-performing schools in the state every year. Our goal is to prepare our students for success in high school and college, with most students graduating with college credits.

My Project

My students need the opportunity to study and learn about the world around them, and to spark an interest in science. Students in my classroom love doing projects and discovering new and interesting facts about our planet. I am in need of a collection of books that will continue to feed their curiosity and love for learning.

These science books will help further their growth and development in STEM.

Students who read these books will gain greater knowledge and be able to put their knowledge to use by creating projects which will continue to foster their learning. Helping students grow and develop a passion for science is a perfect way to develop future leaders. I will use these books in several different areas of our curriculum from language arts to math to science.
