Science Learning Rugs - Special Education Middle School Science Classroom

Help me give my students three science learning area rugs for the classroom.

My Project

In my special education science classroom, I have noticed that the more students see and repeat their science lessons, the more they retain for the long term. My students all have a learning disability, which makes learning harder for them versus their general education peers. I believe fun learning items like these science learning rugs will help the students remember different aspects of science without them even realizing they are learning and remembering these State of Indiana science standards. Anytime there is something interesting to look at in the classroom, the children all flock and gather around. I foresee these rugs to be the "watercooler" of the classroom. I thank you for your consideration of my project and consideration in helping my wonderful students.
