Science Labs Are a Treat!

Help me give my students slinkies, seeds, pulse oximeters, and corn as they study various science topics.

My Project

Science is great. It even better when you have slinkies to make waves, seeds to grow you own plants, pulse oximeter to measure cellular respiration, and strange looking corn to study genetics and understand dihybrid crosses.

Science can be very exciting and fun when you have the right tools.

There are many things that student don't full understand until they see it. For example: Not all corn is yellow. The corn will help them see how there are many different genes that exist and the probability that an organism might have that particular gene. All these things will help engage my students in the learning and allow them to participate in various labs that can be applied to their very own lives.

Science is a treat, and every once in a while students deserve a treat. The Jolly Ranchers and fidget toys will help motivate them and reward them for working hard. My students are great and these materials will be greatly appreciated.
