This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in my classroom need to access some basic materials very quickly without major interruptions. They also need an outlet to share their thinking on the fly as they learn. This project will create a space at each table where students can access materials in a bin that will help them learn. In science we draw models so having colored pencils will help enhance those models. Students often times want to draw as they learn and the chalk markers will allow them to draw directly on their desk as they work through labs and problems. All of these materials can then be kept directly at the table and cut down on the time wasted gathering and distributing materials.
