Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Currently, I have a class of 26 students. My students use their Chromebooks on regular basis for reading, math, or doing research. Our school provided us with earphones that don't work or break easily, and not having working headphones can get a little noisy and distracting if they are all working on something at the same time.
In addition, I make science a big part of our learning experience in my classroom, and learning about paleontologists and dinosaurs is one of the units my students look most forward to every year.
We cover what paleontologists do, all about dinosaurs, meteoroids, and volcanoes. Both kits would provide extremely fun and interesting hands on activities.
