Help me give my students the technological advances they need to keep up with the world. Science is so exciting for children. Help me to keep that excitement alive! This is for our future Scientists, Doctors, and Mathematicians!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach science in K&1. My students are inquisitive, curious, and eager to learn. I've been teaching in the DOE NYC for 22 years now. I've been teaching science for 17 of those years. I just moved into a new classroom and would love to decorate it and make it inviting for the children. Science should be a fun, hands-on experience where students feel that they can explore. Adding a microscope, themed boxes, and other items to my classroom will lend itself to independent exploration and a continued sense of autonomy.
I want students to feel as they can learn and have fun at the same time.
