This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Science is super important in schools because it helps us understand the world around us. It's like a big adventure where we get to explore and discover new things. Science teaches us how things work, why things happen, and how to solve problems. Plus, it's hands-on and fun!

Students will dive into a world of hands on activities!

Using a current and relevant curriculum, such as the Sound Wave kit, students will hands on learn the ins and outs of sound waves! Students are motivated by incentives, and pencils are a great way to encourage students to participate!

My students are not permitted to carry backpacks with them to classes, causing them to cary all of their belongings. I would like to lighten their loads to science by keeping their warm ups in folders held in the classroom!

After all, science is the future! Cheers to cultivating a society of thinkers!
