My Students

" I love coming to school, my classroom is a comfortable organized place to learn" this is what I want my students to think and feel! These resources are needed to achieve this in our classroom. Small group reading daily requires organization and materials to ensure students are given the best opportunity to be successful. My students are hard workers and come from all different background. My classroom consists of ESL students and non-ESL students. My students love hands-on activities that assist them in learning and really enjoy learning new things.

We work every day with our end goal in mind.

In our classroom we think of each other as a family and I strive to provide the students with a comfortable and loving environment.

Our classroom mission is, always have a Can Do attitude and even though we don't know everything Yet we will if we keep trying!

My Project

Science is a subject that often gets overlooked due to the high demand for reading, writing and math. However, science is the foundation of our health system and can provide many opportunities for many students as they progress in their education. Having a great science foundation will allow some students to continue further in the scientific field.

My students love science!

These products include simple machines. Within the kits are pulleys, incline planes, wedge and other simple machines. Students will be able to use the knex kit to put together different simple machines to understand how they interact to create larger machines.

My students always actively participate in all science lessons and have many questions on how things work. I don't always have the materials to show them how things work so I do the best I can with what I have. These materials will allow them to experience it first hand and really understand simple machines and soil.

The soil kit will allow students to explore the different layers of soil and well as study he information reinforced on the notecards that are provided with the kits. We need a carpet in our classroom so the students can come together and share the materials and closely interact with one another.

My students enjoy reading science related books especially when we study animals adapatations. So these books will help students learn the different features that many animals have and why they are needed for survival.
