My Project

How better to enrich the education of student than to include hands on activities? These activities will not only enrich the students' learning; they will accellerate the rate at which they do so.

This self-contained classroom educates students with Social and Emotional needs.

Most are survivors of trauma. Some also have learning disabilities. Engaging activities such as those in this project are sometimes all that it takes to turn a reluctant student into one who suddenly likes to learn. Watching crystals develop, growing your own tomatoes, lettuce and herbs, building robotic devices that move; all are so much fun.
