These six chairs will be used in all areas of the classroom. Students currently move the two "favorite" chairs from their desk to the computer tables and from there to the carpet for whole group instruction. All students will have a choice of which seating they would like and can rotate from day to day or from lesson to lesson. The chairs in this projects (wobble chairs and FitPro Balls) will enable all students to have an alternative to the standard desk chair fostering greater attention to lessons and increased learning. When using this sort of chair students bounce and wiggle without realizing it and before you know it they have remained seated for an entire lesson!
