My Students
I am teaching two classes with a total of 54 students, about 27 students in each class. My students are in their first year in the immersion Chinese program and they've already been making amazing progress. They are a compassionate group of kids that have a real desire to learn a second language at such a young age. They are learning science, social studies, literacy, and math in Chinese every half day and are always asking for more books and interactive materials. I have such a large passion for sharing and teaching them more about the beautiful Chinese culture. With these extra funds, I know for a certainty that my students will be able to enjoy learning in my class and have a more positive and thriving learning environment.
My Project
Science is fun! I am requesting the list of supplies for creating a science area in my class. I want to organize (I am requesting baskets and organizer paper storage letter tray) for my science table and make sure students are interested in it.
I am requesting some paper cups, paper plates, paper straws, and other supplies for my students to engage in science projects.
Also, I am requesting a magnetic fishing rod and magnets. I want my students can be able to review the lesson they have been learning every week. I am going to make some flashcards with magnets that can be more fun when they learn Chinese.
