Help me give my students different ways to express how they feel. Build Me Emotions will allow the children to show how they are feeling as well as their friends.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Hello, my classroom is made up of 18 Preschoolers. Most of the children come from low-income homes and have other siblings in the home. I want to encourage the children that they can be anything that they want to be if they just apply themselves and never let anyone tell them they can't do something.
The children in the class strive to be the best at everything they do, and with the right materials, we can make this happen for each of the children.
My Project
When preschoolers spend time observing, they learn which trees lose their leaves in winter and which ones have buds in spring. They collect leaves and sort them by size and shape. They watch the birds and squirrels and other animals, and learn to share their observations through discussions, drawings, charts, and graphs.
Young children develop science skills and learning by engaging in experiential learning.
By having the correct tools a teacher can take science to new heights and that is what I plan to do. The Build Me Emotions will help the children to predict how one of their friends may feel if they fall down or if someone takes something away from them without asking. The magnets will help the children to complete different activities together as a team and together.
Teaching science to the children can enhance their interest and help little ones to learn to explore their environment. Hands-on science activities, experiments and projects allow the children to make discoveries about natural phenomena, the outdoors and other scientific concepts.
