The children I work with are 4-6 years old and our school is on the West Side of St.Paul. We have mixed ages because it is a Montessori Children's House where I guide children to their highest potential, and children learn from each other.
We have all subject areas within our classroom including language, math, science and social studies.
In harmony with their academic studies, children love learning about the physical and social world around them. We can give them that opportunity in the Children's House setting.
My Project
Our children will not have science as a specialist this year, so I wanted to enhance the science area of our classroom for them. We will need a microscope with slides, subscription to MysteryScience.com for $100, geodes, magnetic materials, and many other objects to explore.
I have many classroom parents who are willing to team with me to plan these amazing science lessons, but we are lacking the materials needed to make it amazing.
Please consider giving to this project so the children of St.Paul's West Side can have the science background they deserve. We greatly appreciate your generosity. Thanks!
