Help me give my students a year subscription to Generation Genius science website.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Mandell's classroom raised $199

My Students
My school community includes a large population of Hispanic and Chaldean immigrant families.
With over 80% of my students being economically disadvantaged and 17% with limited English proficiency, they enter my middle school science classroom facing many obstacles.
Many students at our school lack interest in their education. They come to class with little to no motivation but I intend to change that, one project at a time. My students are excited when they have new, engaging, and exciting materials. Giving opportunities to feel like the work being done in their class is genuine and authentic, they are much more likely to be engaged. Student success depends on keeping their interest and this cannot be tackled by one teacher, but by the support of others as well.
My Project
Having access to quality material that is readily available, highly engaging, and all around awesome is something I strive and search for! I came across this program that I know my students will love and make teaching science easier for me!
I am requesting a year subscription to Generation Genius for my students!
My students and I were able to view and work with this site during a free trial and were sad when the trial ended. This resource will be an awesome addition to my teaching of science. Additionally, it makes substitute planning soooo much easier.
