My Students

I teach in a small, public school where we have only one class per grade level. Most of my students have been together since kindergarten and know each other really well. This has helped to create a very strong sense of community within our school.

My students are eager learners who are constantly developing new skills and ideas.

My students are thoughtful, caring individuals who enjoy school and discovering all there is to learn.

As my students continue to learn to love reading, they are using independent reading time as an opportunity to develop the skills we are learning as they become thoughtful readers.

My Project

My students have an eagerness to learn more about the world around them. The ability to provide them with new and exciting ways to learn about Science will go far in inspiring their future scientific dreams. We want to acquire microscopes and slides to further our inquiry into plant and animal cells and their make-up.

With this emphasis on science, who knows what my students will be able to accomplish!

The more hands-on our lesson can be, the more the concept stays with them, setting them up for success in their future learning. These microscopes, slides, gloves, scalpels, and the message this gift sends will benefit my students in more ways than just my classroom can provide.
