Science For All! Send Kids A Huge Box of Experiments!
Help me give my students a HUGE box of science supplies so we can do TONS of science experiments. PLUS a science experiment book for every student to take home!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Ninety percent of our amazing students live below or near the poverty line. About 60% of our students are learning English in school. Sometimes our school struggles to get the resources we need to teach and care for our incredible students. This makes the job of a school even more important.
Many students we teach experience poverty, but that's just where they are starting.
Our students love to create art and read. They write computer code and even perform Shakespeare. They have big dreams, let's help them reach for those dreams!
My Project
My students LOVE science! They are always observing the world around them and asking a million questions. I want to use this natural curiosity to help them learn more about science.
We don't have the supplies to do science experiments and create science displays--Let's fix that!
You will send us the supplies we need to do hands-on science experiments like dissolving jelly beans, inflating balloons with pop rocks, and making a penny rotate inside a balloon. Plus every student will get a science experiment book to keep at home! These experiments will be full of laughter and learning... thanks to you!
