I really enjoy how excited my students get about Science topics. My students are not exposed to a lot of scientific topics when they reach seventh grade and there is not a huge push for Science in NYC. Unfortunately with limited teacher funding from the city and limited school resources, things like cell identification and classification and phase changes are harder to explain without actually being seen and used. Hands on learning is huge in my classroom however affording these materials along with school supplies is very costly. These products will allow students to gain and even better understanding of the world around them.
