My Project
I would like to provide diverse science fiction\ books to my students. These books are engaging and hook students to reading. Many of my students have already been asking for some of these titles because they are interested in reading them, but we do not have a library in our school. I believe that if my students have access to these types of books, more of them will be hooked on reading and will come back to read more in a series or by the same author.
My school is a Data Science & IT based magnet school that has plenty of readers, but no school library.
My classroom library has become the one place in the school that students come to borrow books or to look through books during independent reading time. Many of my students are looking for sci-fi books, which I am currently lacking in my library.
I also have noticed that the more books I have in my library, the more students come looking for books. I am so grateful that I can provide so many great titles because of help from donors like you.
