This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I work in an amazing middle school that serves families in Essex County, New Jersey. Our students come from a variety of cities in our area, but they are all driven to succeed and be amazing scholars while they are with us. Our scholars and families show their commitment each and every day with an extended school day and an overwhelming dedication to homework and school involvement.
All of our scholars show a drive and determination to learn in everything that they do.
In our science classroom in particular, our students are excited to learn more about the world around them and are determined to do their best as they prepare for high school. They are an inspiration and keep me engaged in our classroom and my commitment to help them be their best.
My Project
These tri-fold display boards and craft supplies will be an amazing resource to help our scholars make their science fair projects amazing. While many of our scholars can bring in some limited supplies, in order to provide everything needed for successful and shining science fair projects, I would love to get these additional supplies for my scholars.
The interest and excitement that our scholars have shown in the past week since introducing the science fair has been inspirational!
This is our first school wide science fair that is available to all of our scholars, and I am so excited to see their completed projects and amazing presentations.
