My Project

Engaging science kits can be a powerful tool to support students with severe special needs, especially in Title One schools where resources may be limited. These students are amazing kids—resilient, capable, and naturally curious about the world around them. Many are English language learners, and science kits provide a visual and tactile approach to bridging language barriers, enabling them to express ideas and build understanding without relying solely on verbal communication. These kits and storage offer hands-on opportunities for students to explore and experiment in ways that are accessible, sensory-rich, and tailored to different learning abilities. Through touch, movement, visuals, and simple cause-and-effect experiences, students can actively engage with scientific concepts in a way that builds curiosity and understanding.
