Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The impact of COVID-19 is being felt every day in the elementary schools. Students lost so much in valuable learning experience and building of social skills. Students have missed nearly two years of learning to create and play with others. They need an opportunity in the classroom to learn how to get a long and accomplish a task while encouraging and helping other friends. With this project, I plan to use most of the materials by enhancing my science curriculum. We will explore plants, build together, and stay organized. I added a little bit of writing help so that my ones who struggle with fine motor skills can get some fun handwriting practice, along with paints, again to be used for find motor skills. 2nd grade is a time to close the gaps, so please help me guide them through this process when so much learning is expected but we can have fun doing it!
