Help me give my students owl pellets and petri dishes so they can complete more lab activities!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Lustig's classroom raised $485
This project is fully funded
My Project
My 8th grade students love to do labs, but need the materials and resources to complete them! They come from low income homes and deserve the same access as every other student in the country. The owl pellets will be used to learn about food chains and food webs. Students will be able to determine what owls eat and then create a food chain based on their findings. The petri dishes will be used to study microbes located around the school building. Students will determine what microbes were found in different locations and compare their findings with each other.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
